The Terradox system looks like they're getting close to having it figured out. A computer certainly should be capable of suggesting a pattern for spraying, once you have driven the perimeter of the field. The one downside I see to their system is; it seems a bit overpriced but that's certain to come down.
How smart is this guidance stuff?
