| Thanks for the replies, One of the heifers i posted yesterday had a calf last night, When i got their early this morning the calf was licked off and cleaned up but was laying up agianst the fence dead, I dont know if the heifer had the calf and smashed it in the fence or what happened, Just makes me wonder what i could have did diffrent. I do know that when i go to check any of my cows and i see them close i dont rest till ive seen her have the calf, I cant rest till i know everything is allright. I even bought one of those oral feeding things, If i see a newborn try to suck and keeps getting kicked i put some colostreum down them as soon as possible. | |
