Belize
Southern Belize.. A liitle village called Independence.
You know I am listening.. Gathering information and then when It looks like something has a fairly good chance of success I might try it :). :) That's farming. I think 30" rows can be made to work.. I think that for what I want to do, 36 " rows would have more dirt and more space to bury trash but I don't really cherish the idea of changing row spacing. What you mentioned about floating corn stalks that is exactly what I'm concerned about. What I was thinking was if I mount the planter to the bedder, then mount the roller or smaller rollers on the planter main frame, it should be a heavy enough outfit together to give the rollers enough weight for a really nice seed bed for beans. Not as concerned about planting corn because it's deeper but beans can be delicate. But concerned that either a lister or disc bedder will bury the trash. I mow the stalks now with a mower but i don't want the extra pass if I don't have to. That would be 3 passes over the field.
