Belize
Hi there. Several reasons.
Value of the stocks in the ground.
If I don't bury the stocks, one good rain and I have a mess. Ask me how I know..
I want to deep band npk for my corn.. To do this on the 15" centers where the ridges will be moved, means I only have to put the fertilizer 6 in down..the ridge will go on top and give me the fertilizer about 8 inches below the seed which is where I want it.
I can move the soil twice a year if this works and won't have the residue on top..
Those are some of my reasons but this is why I'm asking..
If I go strait ridgetill and don't bury the residue or work it in. One 10" weekend rain and Ive got a mess on my hands..
