Alpena MI | Farming over the two told us which one we would rather have. The 4” runs show up first in the spring and the dry meets between the runs faster if the spacing is equal. I learned to know Ehsan Ghane from MSU a few years ago and after I learned to know him I studied his material with interest. He has a study showing the difference in drainage speed is largely attributed to the length of slot in a foot of pipe. I think maybe that explains what we had been seeing in our own ground for a number of years.
