As far as NRCS the only wetland maps that matter are the Certified Wetland Determination maps that they create. As a farmer, it is your responsibility to immediately open the certified letter and appeal if you don't agree. You have 30 days from receipt of the letter. If you were too busy, that is on you. I recommend shutting down whatever operation you are doing at the time and review them. US Fish and Wildlife has a completely different set of maps and rules. In MN DNR has another set of wetland maps that you have to follow. NRCS has the least amount of control as you can get out of the farm program and never have to deal with them again. USFW and MNDNR can fine you and put you in jail.
