What do you have for equipment??
-Do you have liquid on the planter? If so run 10+ gal banded next to the row (on top or 2" away with a stabilizer)
-Do you have your own sprayer? If so run 80+lbs with streamer bars and a nitrogen stabilizer pre plant-v1.
-Then come back and top dress a dry over top around v6-10 depending on rain/weather.
-Get a 15" side dress bar and run 25 gal pre plant.
-Then come back and top dress a dry over top around v6-10
I would personally not like my Nitrogen put on 30" centers if I'm planting 15" corn especially if it's a wet year. I've seen striped fields from anhydrous put on at an angle to planting 30" anhydrous and 20" corn in the v5-v6 stage when it was wet.
What's your sulfur plans? Pretty easy to add sulfur to liquid N
Check out N-guard from Carbotech for liquid stabilizer.
My planter I just bought has a pump for liquid, im thinking about throwing 360 wave on it. if I wanted to go heavy on at planting n id maybe look into bandits too.
I have a 90' boom fast sprayer and I was just talking with my buddy about just streaming like you said. id really like to lose that sprayer though.
As far as post plant n I like either the idea of dry or narrow y drops but id need trams and a 120' boom. Big $$$
