I used to use a dry only program, but I was using about 200-250# of AMS and also Instinct on the urea. It got costly but I didn’t see the “urea drag” at the end of the year. I think any N program needs Ammonia form of N, whether it be Anhydrous or UAN or AmNit. But I can no longer agree with a 100% upfront Urea program. (I honestly had great success when I did 2/3N pre and 1/3 N fly on pre tassel, but I was 100% dependent on rain and a plane.
