Adrian MI | Not combines, but self propelled choppers. We bought a 2nd machine 2 years ago and it's been great having two machines. Both are the same vintage so when one breaks down, we just drop the head and switch machines. In the fall one machine is set for chopping corn and the other chops sudangrass and hay. Put some money into the 2nd machine this year. Lots of wear parts on choppers, so only putting 100-150hrs per season per year on each machine has helped.
