For the amount some custom guys leave in the field you can own a second machine.  


Yep. I had one neighbor finish my field after I had a breakdown with 10 acres left. I stalk chopped, raked, hired baler. The guy asked “what happened? There was barely any corn then in one ares its corn kernels everywhere.?”

Had same in beans. But guy I have now does a very nice job in corn. The group for beans does ok. Not quite as good. But understandable with 45’ head. It’s not bad job.
