Subject: RE: 1 or 2 combines?

Camp Douglas Wi. 40miles nw of wi. dells
We run 2 combines in beans near 40 years, started with 7720 and 6600, now 9770 and 9870 with 35’ heads. We start cutting beans at 15-16% generally down to 10-11% when finished. Do all repairs in house, when one combine breaks down the other keeps going. In corn we have one cornhead, when one combine breaks down grab the other one keep shelling, other goes back to shop gets fixed. If traded both off for one class 9 and she breaks down wouldn’t get nothing done till fixed, ain’t gonna happen. I’m very grateful to the farmers that buy new equipment and trade often to give our farm good selection of good used equipment with good value.
