I think dad lost 3 engines in the 1680.
We run 2 combines for contamination issues and reducing downtime. Maintenance cost I would guess averages slightly more per year but that can be justified pretty easy by the few hours of downtime vs few days/weeks of potential downtime.
1 or 2 combines?
