I tend to agree with both these quotes. I think his system could work in warmer climates with adequate rainfall, but when he comes up here and says he can make his system work anywhere on a large scale, then I'm extremely skeptical. We just don't have enough heat after fall harvest to get adequate cover started in late fall for spring weed control. Guys here that have tried it seem to be successful 1 in 4 years or thereabout. I applaud them for trying, but we already deal with so many variables in organic that I don't want to take a 25% chance I'll have a successful year.
