I just had to get that adapter to hook my laptop into my EZSteer to do the software upgrade.
Once I installed the driver, it worked fine. If I remember correctly it asked me during the driver installation which port to use and then I chose the same port in the Trimble EZ Toolbox. I could com port 3 or 4.
