Subject: Strange spot in soybean field

Eastern Ontario
Was Foliar feeding today and found this strange spot in one of my fields. Never seen anything like it. Haven't beeen in that field with anything for at least 3 weeks. No footprints, nothing.  Beans look like they just quit and fell over, as do the milkweed but not the grass. Roots look pretty brown, not healthy. It's not a low spot where water would sit for too long either. At first I thought it was the Monsanto Police, but then I thought it couldn't be because the grass would also be dead. Is this Sudden Death or Syst Nematode or something. Haven't even heard of either this far north. Maybe I'm the first one, who knows.
