| What is the typical cost per plate at a Steak Feed Fundraiser? Have you had them in your communties and how was the response? We are looking at this for our church, and we are looking in May since it is National Beef Month. There has not been something like this in our community and thought this might be good and something different.
I got a price of $6.49 per pound for choice ribeyes from one outlet and will shop around some more. Called local beef producers organinzation and they will grill them for us if we can coordinate dates. Was told the price of beef could go up so it might be over of what we could handle.
Is 6oz or 8oz steaks typical for a fundraiser??
I know our local beef producers will probably be able to answer but wanted to feel out the members here.
What other fundraisers work good for your church? We are looking for something to do to help and would appreciate any suggestions that may work.
