Melancthon, Ontario | I see these in fields everywhere I looked this spring. Impressive looking units.
How do guys justify them?
Seems like a very time consuming job, lots have a dump trailer chasing the picker around. This is a bit of a major operation with $400k of iron rolling around to add into the mix of seeding; and i cant get my head around how it pays. Im not holding up planting to pick little stones off rented ground. Ive farmed on moderately stoney land my whole life; we pick the big ones and pound the little ones down and drive on.
