Ontario | I have this 6’ bush hog I bought last year. When I bought it the bolts on the gearbox were loose and there were a few cracks forming. I replaced them and welded up the cracks. After a few hours of working it today the blades started banging the sides of the mower. Upon further inspection it seems the bolts are pulling right through and the gearbox is sitting crooked.
What do you all recommend to fix this? I was thinking pull the whole gearbox and weld a piece of plate into it and try that.
Or do you think I could get away with just pulling it straight with another tractor or something? Looks like a big job to pull it all apart.
