Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North | Sorry to hijack the thread, but has anyone ever had trouble getting the stub to go in far enough? Can't remember which way - 540 to 1000 or vice versa, but my 6410 can be a real SOB to get to seat far enough in. Have tried all combinations of starting and stopping the engine and PTO but sometimes it goes easy, other times it takes 20 minutes and some cursing and abusing to get it switched. Never any trouble on my 7700 though.
