If I weld a loose fitting bushing in a hole in a heavy peice of iron,What will the center hole "ID" of the bushing be in size after it cools.
A, smaller than before I welded on it,and a pin might no longer fit correctly?
B, larger than it was before I welded on it and a pin will fit looselly?
Or C, will it go back to its original size and the pin will fit correctly or at least close.
Another question for you machinist types.
