Southeastern Alberta | I have a neighbor that just did his 4494 for about $3000 CAD including injectors. They are easy to work on, and there are lots of parts out there. Watch out for the rear steer electronics, when they die I think the box costs more than an engine rebuild. And if you are running high demand hydraulics you may be looking for more, since it has small oil capacity (just what's in the tranny).
Lots are still running in the area. I know of one with 8000 hrs that has never had the engine or powershift done. That is quite incredible actually. | |
