| Mad Max, Rich is right. See a real doctor pronto and if he says it needs fixed, then geterdone!
Hernia can be nothing more than a minor nuisance but if they are causing you sharp, maybe even burning pain and it keeps coming out of place it can turn into a serious deal if it totally kinks off you plumbing.
Nothing to mess with so at least get a real dr to check it out.
I had a hernia fixed 25 yrs ago. The surgery itself is not that big of a deal. I think I spent 3 days in the hospital. They might even do it on an outpatient deal nowdays.
Then you are limited on lifting and straining for a month or so while healing. Behave and in 3 months you'll be up to full speed again. If your tractor has a nice seat in a smooth field you should be able to be in the field in no time, just need someone to help out or a way to cheat with any heavy lifting.
Good luck. I hope it's just a pulled muscle but if it is really a hernia bothering you I'm afraid you must take a bit of downtime to get yourself fixed. | |
