South Central Kansas | Thanks for all replies. After the calling the Strother Field Driver's liscence office and being given one opinion, (which the lady there discovered was wrong as she was reading the handbook to me) she directed me to the Wichita office where officer John clarified the statute as per the post by Wheatfarmer below.

As Wheatfarmer said, pay particular attention to last page 3 subsection (h).
Notice that the statute is listed under the 2009 session of the Kansas Legislature.
Any employee who drives for me also falls under that statute as long as they have a valid class C liscence.
