Yes you need to get the hydro pressures checked and make sure that all pressures are up to the top side of spec including the charge pressure, Reverse boost doesn't give reverse more pressure or power than forward has, actually it is slightly less, what reverse boost does is lower the pressure in 3rd and 4th so that when you are in transport and pull the hydro handle back the motors become pumps and the hydros become motors and it could overspeed the engine badly, by having the lower pressure settings the reliefs open and prevent the hydro from driving the engine into an unsafe overspeed condition. In 1st and 2nd gears the reverse boost raises the relief pressure to get the full hydro pressure back for infield use. So basically what I am saying that trying to re-engineer reverse boost is not feasable and nothing to be gained.
