South Georgia | Whenever I've had them get in a contacter, they only get into the 'input' side, never the 'output' side. I take that to mean they're drawn to the electricity, as crazy as that sounds. One bin fan in particular would have ants in the contactor every time we tried to use it, and I'd have to take it apart and clean it out. After I had my epiphany, we started cutting off the main breaker when we're not using anything at the bin site, and I haven't had that problem since.
Yeah, it sounds nuts, don't it? Worked for me, though.
