SE Nebraska | You'll still have some line bleed from manifold to the knife, but the valves close the flow to the manifold off immediately. They are strictly and on/off. You can use a flow control valve to run a variable flow. Are you running a ground drive pump on the system? And what is your manifold pressure? I have found 3 manifolds with orifices in them that are way too small for the seired flow rate. They were running extremely high pressures and had long bleed times. Look into the nipple on the manifold. It should be completely open . If it is contricted, you have a manifold that was set up for side dress.Your DJ controller is, if memory serves, too old to handle the new tech of the fast valves. As far as the JD controller, you will have to talk to them. | |
