Not that there's anything at all wrong with using smaller equipment on a small operation, but my 240 hp 8420 and 12 row planter uses only .17 gallons per acre. Smaller and older is not usually more efficient. Less invested, maybe. That 4020 would handle it right with a single hose combo setup on the planter, or find a set of remotes to add a second one.
