Alton, Ia | Had a retired farmer tell me once- If God didn't want us to work on Sunday, he'd never let it hail on Monday.
We usually don't do a full day on Sunday. Will plant a little corn if we are running late, will combine beans for sure, maybe some corn to keep the dryer fed, otherwise, it's family time. There's alot to be said for taking a day off and recuperating, then hitting it hard on Monday morn. | |
