I have not had it stick but it could potentially stick. All you have to do is take the cap off of the top and there is a taperd plunger that goes up and down letting more or less product through. The plunger is made of a rubbery substance so could stick. There is a distribution cylinder around the plunger, if it comes out with the plunger. Make sure you align the holes with the discharge holes.
