If the pump runs, it may be caught somehow. I usually run my seat pretty low, and one time a co-worker took over and tried airing it up higher....it would not go past a certain point. But, I let all the air out, then started airing it up again and it worked. Couldn't explain it other than something somewhere must have caught.
