the low oil level refers to the clean oil reservoir, not the main reservoir. the clean oil reservoir is a cavity built into the housing to provide filtered oil to the pumps. it has a float style sensor in it to monitor level. if it gets low it shuts off all hyd functions to protect the pump from no oil. getting out of the seat should not have anything to do with it. my guess is you have blown orings in the supply lines going to the scvs. these lines are internal so the oil will just go back to sump. there are new style fittings and orings to repair this problem. the rear housing has to come off to fix it. i have done several over the years. it could also be a problem with pump itself with internal leakage, had one of them once. your dealer can get you information on this from dtac.
