According to the BFG website, the 285's are one inch larger diameter than the 265's. Revolutions per mile are about 630 on 285's and 654 on the 285's . If my rough calculations are correct, your speedo will be only registering about 3.6% high. Or at an indicated 60 mph you may be actually going about 62 mph. If they don't rub. don't worry.
