I would like to update 4640 to a front wheel assist. Found a 4850 in my price range. Would be mostley summerfallow tractor, but would like to start doing my own strip tilling. I have been hiring it done. Would 200 hp pull an 8 row strip till machine with NH3 tank. The 4850 doesn't seem to turn very short. Do the 49 series tractors have a shorter turning radius? Also found a 9130 and 9150 CaseIH tractors. They are priced about like the 49 series John Deeres. Would something like that be better? Would it be better to spend the extra money for a 49 series tractor? TIA

None of the 50-60 series Waterloo tractors with mfwd turn short especially on 60" row centers. I'm not sure what the rig your talking about looks like but if its 3-point hitch you won't like an articulated tractor without it being a row crop special. The C-IH RCS electronics suck and don't work long without needing repairs or re engineered.
