On a A series Gleaner you would need the shafts between row units. $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Really I would not the job of changing a A438 to a A436 or A440.
Plus tin.

I think it would be far cheaper to find a A430.
Used the present A438 for parts.

Not a lot of A430 heads, at least in central Iowa.
Get a A630 and reduce it?
