not a gleaner guy, but ya its been done. i had a guy convert my old deere 444 4 row wide to a six row narrow. the row units are just u bolted on, he then added a Poly Tin kit which is basically poly snouts that bolt on. it was cheaper then buying a new one thats for sure ! also a friend turned his white 4 row wide to 6 row narrow but he kept the tin and just cut the middles out and moved them closer together.
