I would not want a stump on the end of that poly rope though. Might give you a serious head ache when it sling shots it through the back of the cab. Better use a big hi-test chain. Pull ropes are ok as long as they are tied to something big enough and well enough it will not become a projectile. About one or two guys a year get killed with those things. I have personal acquaintances that came very close to becoming a statistic. Be careful.
