Anamoose, ND | Well we farm across the border from you here in central North Dakota, and we are making the exact switch that you are thinking about doing this spring. We use to apply all of our NH3 in the fall with knives on the chisel plow. Now we are going to do everything in one pass this year with a Bourgault 5710 with a 5440 cart. We will be using NH3 and urea throught the banders, not at the same time. We bought some of each this year because if the lines at the coop get too long to fill our NH3 tanks we will go get a few semi loads of urea to keep going.
