north central indiana | Frank, thats just it, the seed spacing is "ok". But the drill will put beans in a gravel road or the softest sand and do a great job at it. Really zero complaints about the drill. Just dust on the first fifty acres, the rest was mud.
HYDE, we like the premium we can get at the elevator in the fall for some early beans, also gets the combines shined up and bugs worked out on the early beans.
FF, not really alot of tile in this higher ligther soil. Most of this front fifty acres we seeded is underlayed with a lil gravel and sand. The back half of the field is heavy clay, muck and some gumbo type dirt, still water standing on it and it is closer to the open ditch, and tiled a lil. What seeder ya gettin?
