| We recently purchased a flatbed semi railer equpped with 4 1250 gal tanks. Looking at it today I noticed it didn't have a filter in the plumbing. I have always ran a filter on the suction side of our transfer pumps. I figured on the suction side it would filter the water twice, once going into the tanks & again when pumping out to the sprayer. I orginally started doing this when we would pull water out of a creek, now we get our spray water out of a well.
I was wondering where most of you locate for filter, on the suction side of the pump or the outlet side or do you even have a filter on your tender?
BTW, this unit is settup with a tee in the outlet side. One side of the tee feeds to the tanks & the other side is the fill hose to the sprayer. It is plumbed so that by switching a coulple of bango valves you you use the same line to fill the tanks or to pull out of the tanks.
TIA,
boog
PS, still too wet here in WC - IN to get into the field. Too wet even to repair tile holes :~(
