I thought about it just bought a roller last year, but rolled some after planting and some after beans were 3 inches or more up, like the beans best that was rolled after they were up. but got caught by some rains and did not get them all rolled. hope to hear from someone who did roll the stalks first my 750 drill leaves some beans on top.
