IL | yes, I am helping my 9 and 12 yr old out, working with our feed person,as they are not quite full fledged nutritionists yet. Just showing them that certain stages of certain animals may require different levels of protein, fat, etc. No "foo foo" dusts used, just helping them watch what they eat. They learn that barrows need different feeds than gilts, and differences with in the sexes and breeds. And yes, work with the kids to pic out the animals, showing them what to look for. | |
