My new computer has Vista. I've found a couple things XP was gobbs better at.  One is the image resizer.  In XP I could start adding it as an attachment, use resizer on it while doing that, and it worked.  The Vista version I have to stop, find the file, resize it, THEN start the attaching/uploading process.

And finding the file .... XP's My Computer is just SO much better than Vista's version.  I'm not sure who had their head stuck up someplace very dark when they designed it, but it is a poor imitation of what we had clear back with 3.11.  It may be I just haven't changed a setting someplace, but I have looked intently and not found a way to make it work well.
