Kansas | Had a foreign exchange student in Vo-tech in Diesels course. First part of the first year we were taking some basic skills tests and one of them was to butt weld 1 piece of flat iron to the face of another. After the foreign exchange student got done I went to look at his weld and told him it wasn't worth a crap. He said why. I said cause you shouldn't be able to do this and I took it and snapped the two pieces of iron apart at the weld.
He was mad
I felt bad
I told the instructor not to ream him, he did try to weld it, even if it was bubblegum slobbered at best. LOL. | |
