Quincy, IL | We had a 8330 that came in April 2008. We noticed it had a issue in the fuel system after 50 hrs. It started smoking and didn't have the power that our others did (pulling the same applicators). Initialy deere thought it was simply a few bad injectors, but to make a long story short, it was the brain box that controls the injectors. From what I understand the box was pushing fuel at the wrong time, in turn dried the cylinders and it began to make it smoke. To correct the problem, deere bolted a complete engine in spot and the tractor has 2650 hrs now. We have had to put a few new gaskets, which I warned ahead of time I probably have to do. Deere couldn't have been any better to work with. Jered | |
