| I went to a local john deere clinic, and they said that they had found quite a few 30 series tractors that the timing gears were 1 tooth off one way or the other. They claimed that even though the tractors ran fine after start up, they were harder starting in cool weather, and that it had something to do with the pre-mature fuel system failures. Evidently the computer on the tractor would sense that the timing was off, and try to correct it all day long. | |
