I bought one that had over 8000 hours on it with no overhaul yet as it is approaching 9000 hours.  No problems yet, but most serious is loss of the wheel motors.  Dealer I bought it from said to use the 4WD option as little as possible because the front wheel moters are the most likely to go.  Maybe that was just a salesman's lie, I don't know.  Local JD dealer told me he wishes he could tell me something bad about it so he could get me in a JD, but what they have worked on have been very good units.
