We have drilled beans into irrigated 200bu cornstalks with our 4030 CB, it does a nice job. As long as the trash is dry it will cut thru just fine with that notched opener disk. Have drilled over 10k acres with ours in 2 1/2 yrs of owning it. Im not a big fan of the upkeep on the CB way to pricey of parts versus other brands, but you wont hear me complain of the job it does.
