If the stuff on top is thinner than oil, could it be diesel fuel?
I had an 855 in a Versatile that suddenly started putting diesel fuel in the coolant. The problem was a crack in a small sleeve that was apparently pressed into the head to form a cavity for the injector.
Oil in antifreeze? 855
