Just fix it, you say you have 10 days till planting it only takes 3/4 of a day to slap a head gasket in it. Why run something that is asking for trouble when you have the time to fix it and fix it right? Would you hold off on putting new opener blades on your planter if they were worn out just because you was 10 days from planting? No....

This is comeing from a guy who pulled a final drive off my main tillage tractor during planting season on a rainy day to fix a bad brake piston oring. Everyone including my father thought I was nuts.. I hated not being able to turn left so I fixed it the first chance I got. Jon
