These little buggies are pretty popular now like a 150cc model like http://www.bladepowersports.com/50kt.asp . I looked at them you can get single or double seaters smaller or bigger. I think I agree with others a youth atv is pretty handy. I bought my kids the little made in china atv's (3) with mixed results - 90cc, 110cc, 150cc. The last one I bought has been fine its called a Jetmoto 150cc http://www.jetmotousa.com/view_atv.htm;jsessionid=3C58F1B38C22C926A... Now I'd have to say this thing for a chinese atv is pretty darn good. For one thing is "useful" as in he can come on the trial rides when we go quading. The other smaller ones had crappy suspension/not very durable etc. The 150cc has disc brakes all around a heavy duty drive chain, reverse, good suspension and CVT trans. The 150 engine is a honda GY6 clone out of Honda scooters some 25 years ago. Anyway I now wish I would have just bought a couple of these 150's for the boys right off the start as it would have been far less hassle. It seems only my one boy is crazy about quading so once the 150 is too small we'll get him ( or more like he will get himself) a main line atv of some sort. Note: Not all chinese 150 cc atv's are the same!
